Celiac Quebec Autumn 2025 Brunch at Satu Lagi

Open to all.

Meet new people, enjoy great conversion, and Indulge in a delicious gluten-free brunch at Satu Lagi this October!

Satu Lagi brings Indonesian and Malaysian delicacies to the Plateau-Mont-Royal brunch experience. It has a dedicated gluten-free kitchen, with many mouthwatering tastes you won't typically come across in a weekend morning outing.

This is not your typical brunch menu - there is definitely a Southeast Asia flair to the offerings. The menu provides a number of general choices:

  • smalls - including toast and egg, tofu, and smoothie bowl dishes ($10-$14)
  • satays - marinated pieces of meat or tofu with various flavour accents ($12-$15)
  • peached eggs - eggs benedict or eggs florentine with distinct Southeast Asian tastes ($24-$26)
  • mains - from Pulau french toast to deep fried chicken thigh to a Buddha bowl to the Malaysian specialty of Nasi Lemak ($18-$26)
  • desserts - Satu Lagi's twist on crême brulêe and their own cinnamon caramel fried bananas ($10).

The full menu is available here. (Note: the descriptions above are based on the menu available on September 8, 2025).

Allergies

The restaurant can accommodate most allergies for brunch, but it may depend on how severe the allergy is. Make sure you notify the server of any food allergies you may have.

The following is provided by the restaurant.

Peanuts
Peanuts are not used in the cooking, but there are peanuts in the kitchen. They are used in the peanut sauce and as garnish.

Shellfish
Shellfish touches the grill, so for any contact allergy, avoid anything that is grilled. For brunch, the only items affected would be the satays and grilled GF bread.

Soy
There are several dishes without soy.

Tree Nuts
During brunch, there are two dishes that contain candlenut. The rest is fine.

Sesame
There is only one dish that contains sesame and it is clearly marked.

Eggs
All of the eggs in the eggs benedicts can be replaced with a tofu galette.

Fish
The only item with fish is a fish satay and the nasi lemak (which has anchovies on the side).

Milk
The restaurant is dairy free.
